I’m done reading Scarred, and it’s a beautiful book I must say. My favourite person is Ranti, and I would have loved to read about her own happy ending too. It was a beautiful piece in all and I look forward to reading more books authored by Simi, and watch her TED talks too! It scattered by Saturday schedule as it was suspense filled, so I just wanted to finish it! Well done Simi.

This book with Simi’s page on it is all shades of thrilling. The depth and insight with which she wrote the book and brought forth lessons from simple scenes. I caught myself grinning while reading page 57, Simi is a toaster! I also absolutely loved the scene on page 60, because I can relate with the gist sessions that become prayer sessions with friends. Ultimately, it was a fantastic read. I loved every bit of it. Thumbs up baby girl!

It’s pure joy from this end reading Simi’s well versed artwork. I finished reading in less than a day. It was too intriguing. I couldn’t wait to complete it. I loveeeeeeeeedddddd ittttttt. Simi was on point all through. I don’t know what to say but the wait and longing was worth it all. Indeed, Simi has written a very compelling story, interesting to the last, fascinating in and out. I just finished Simi’s book and it’s good stuff. Laden with emotions and truths. Simple but rich. And I fell in love with the characters. Well done! Scarred is a very interesting book that highlights the fact that burying an ordeal doesn’t necessarily translate to healing from it. Ranti and Teni experienced trauma in their past and while time has helped them manage the pain, they hadn’t healed from it. This book reminds us that forgiveness above all things is for you, more than the perpetrator. The book shows practical steps on how this can be achieved and emphasizes the fact that you aren’t what you’ve gone through. Simi has written another great book and has delivered a bestseller.
